Custom Yamaha TRX Photoshoot

Does it get anymore customized than this? I don't think there is one part of this 1996 Yamaha TRX 850 that has not been modified.  It starts with extensive engine work - high comp pistons + flatside carbs and head work - Triumph 675R Ohlins front end and brakes - CBR1000RR rims -Race Centre modified R6 Ohlins rear shock - Custom hand made exhaust - custom subframe - chopped and modified tank - Harley headlight - Ducati Master cylinder. The list goes on and on and is absolutely incredible.

I had the chance to shoot this amazing bike for Johnny Taylor. Jonny is an accomplished road racer who built the bike himself over 4  years. Everything on the bike had a purpose to make it go harder, handle and stop better (plus it also looks sexy).  This bike will be featured in an upcoming issue of RetroBike magazine in October, i'm pretty excited to see my photos in print.

In the mean time you can read more about Johnnys bike over at Return of the Cafe Racer in their writeup on his bike HERE

Benzina Garage- Preston

I recently spent half a day chilling with the cool cats at Benzina Garage in Preston  snapping some photos of the boys and their bikes in the workshop. This was a great chance to test out the capabilities of my new Nikon D750. I have to say i'm so happy with the performance of this camera and its low light abilities.

Check out the Benzina workshop website below for all your bike servicing needs.
