Norton Commando 961 Sport Photoshoot

Promotional photoshoot of the Norton Commando 961

Last week i had the special opportunity to shoot the new Norton Commando 961 Sport MkII for the new Melbourne dealer Benzina Garage. What a beautiful hand built machine this is, the attention to detail and craftsmanship is stunning. In the next few weeks iā€™m looking forward to taking some more shots of these machines in some different locations around the streets of Melbourne. For now check out the official Norton Australia website or head over to Benzina Garage to check out these sweet machines in person, maybe if you ask nicely enough they will let you take one for a test ride.

R1 Race Bike Photoshoot

This shoot was interesting and a lot of fun. Richard had just finished his R1 Race Bike ( his wet bike) and wanted some photos. These shots were taken just as the sun was setting which created the beautiful backlight coming from the window. I had to move fast setting up my flash's as the light was fading quickly. For the hazy effect i ended up using the bag from a vacuum cleaner which was full of dust, to shoot the dust in the air we used air from an air gun in the workshop.

Get in touch if you'd like to organise your very own private photoshoot

Benzina Garage- Preston

I recently spent half a day chilling with the cool cats at Benzina Garage in Preston  snapping some photos of the boys and their bikes in the workshop. This was a great chance to test out the capabilities of my new Nikon D750. I have to say i'm so happy with the performance of this camera and its low light abilities.

Check out the Benzina workshop website below for all your bike servicing needs.

Motocross at Krusic's Ride Park- Gippsland

Spent an awesome weekend away at a friends holiday house at Golden Beach in Gippsland. Had such a great time away from the city with mates, talking smack, drinking and the best part is that Ride Park was just 5 mins from our house. Ive been wanting to  check out  Krusics Ride Park  for a few years now but the distance was just too far to make a day trip out of.

I hadn't been on a MX track in 3 years (plus i'm also really bad at MX) but had a heap of fun. After my body couldn't take any more of a beating i parked up the bike and headed out to take some photos of the proper riders.

Does anyone want to trade MX lessons for some photos? :P
