Spent some time in the studio capturing images of my friend, talented DJ and Cinematographer Sean AKA Beatmaster Jay for his online profile. We went for dark moody with some coloured gels and haze to spice things up.
Band photography is not normally what i shoot but was a very welcome and fun change. I happened to find myself as an extra in a rock bands music video clip and while waiting around i decided to shoot some behind the scenes stills. What started as BTS photos then become more or less a promotional photoshoot for the all girl Rock band Cash who absolutely shred on stage, these girls are so talented and was a pleasure to watch them perform.
A big thanks to Dillon who was the cinematographer and brains behind the creative setups and lighting on the day. Great to see him work in a different medium compared to the stills photography i’m used to. Check out his showreel below.
