CF Moto- Motorcycle Advertising Campaign 2021

A few samples from the Australian 2021 CF Moto Motorcycle Campaign photographed around inner Melbourne in 2021. We ran very light on this shoot, no assistant, minimum gear and a small budget. The day consisted of just myself and a representative from Mojo Motorcycles. Over the full day shoot we managed to squeeze in 6 different locations and photographed 5 different models in static settings. The client was provided with high end global campaign level imagery on a small budget and tight timeframe, the images were used by the client for full page magazine ads, social media, point of sale in stores and also on the website. Working under pressure is where you have to think on your feet and i was really proud of what we achieved on this photoshoot.

Sherco Australia - Electric Kids Balance Bikes

Some recent work for Mojo Motorcycles who are the importer of bespoke French motorcycle manufacturer Sherco Motorcycles. Sherco Australia have just launched their range of Electric kids balance bikes the EB12 and EB16. and required imagery for their press release and marketing efforts. Unfortunately I could not spend much time planning or scouting for this shoot as it was very last minute, regardless we came away with some great images on the day. The two children were absolute superstars on the day, it was a great day and i’m looking forward to working with Sherco Australia again soon.

Shark & Airoh Motorcycle Helmets- Product Photography

Product photography captured in my studio during Melbournes 3 month lockdown. I thought id keep productive during this downtime so it was the perfect time to try some new techniques and ideas that were swirling around my head, what better subject to shoot than some of my favourite helmets.

ENDURO ROLLFORMER- INDUSTRIAL PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY

I was contacted by John from Dialogue Visual Communication to be a part of a commercial photoshoot for one of his clients. The product to photograph was a very large industrial piece of machinery, not something i would normally shoot but i was up for the challenge.

The machine itself turns rolls of sheet metal into framing for use in the construction industry, namely metal framing for houses and buildings. The machines manufacturer ‘Enduro’ is a subsidiary of a much larger parent company, Blue Scope Steel Australia. The client required images of their new machine for use on their website, brochures and also marketing materials both printed and online. To light such a large complex object I used a mix of both studio flash and also LED light painting techniques to make the machine pop from the cluttered background and the rest of the warehouse. Working closely with John and the ‘Enduro’ sales team on site we spent a few hours creating images and nailed the brief. Below are a few samples that we came away with.

HUSQVARNA TX300 - DRIVEWAY AND GARAGE PHOTOSHOOT

How to get creative when you are stuck at home?

Being stuck at home during Melbournes lockdown i decided to practice some ideas i’ve had in my head for a while. My home driveway and garage are not ideal places to shoot as they have cluttered unflattering backgrounds. So with these photos i decided to use a combination of my Godox Studio lights, water smoke and coloured gels to make a boring location into something a bit more eye catching. Check out the final results below and also a short BTS video of how these shots were created.

Professional Website and LinkedIn Headshots for 'Calibre3' and 'Monday People'

I was approached by Kristen and Patrick to create some images for their rebranded business’ Calibre 3. Calibre3 are a bespoke Sales Recruitment Specialists and required some imagery for their re-branded website alongside profile photos for Patricks personal LinkedIn account. Being an entrepreneurial couple Kristen also required some imagery for her new business venture and for her website Monday People along with her own LinkedIn profile.

I spent the afternoon at this gorgeous couples home capturing them at their most relaxed, although Kristen acted camera shy she was a natural in front of the lens. We also managed to get their beautiful children into some of the shots.

Alex is someone who is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but he brings a real ‘human element’ to his work and made us feel completely comfortable. His work is top quality and he went out of his way to ensure we were happy with the end results - which we absolutely were! Will definitely work with him again.
