Retrobike Magazine feature article

MY FIRST PUBLISHED PHOTOSHOOT

I'm excited to have my first ever magazine photoshoot published in the latest October issue of Retro Bike magazine. Its such a great feeling to see images i’ve shot in print format and not through a computer screen. Theres just something about a physical print that is so appealing. A big thanks to Jonny Taylor for building such an amazing custom bike that photographs so well. This current issue of Retrobike is in stores now so if you feel like it grab yourself a copy to read all about the build and look at some pretty pictures.

The rest of the shoot is up on my previous blog post from earlier this year, it features many more of my favourite shots that were not included in the magazine.

CUSTOM YAMAHA TRX CAFE RACER

Custom Yamaha TRX Photoshoot

Does it get anymore customized than this? I don't think there is one part of this 1996 Yamaha TRX 850 that has not been modified.  It starts with extensive engine work - high comp pistons + flatside carbs and head work - Triumph 675R Ohlins front end and brakes - CBR1000RR rims -Race Centre modified R6 Ohlins rear shock - Custom hand made exhaust - custom subframe - chopped and modified tank - Harley headlight - Ducati Master cylinder. The list goes on and on and is absolutely incredible.

I had the chance to shoot this amazing bike for Johnny Taylor. Jonny is an accomplished road racer who built the bike himself over 4  years. Everything on the bike had a purpose to make it go harder, handle and stop better (plus it also looks sexy).  This bike will be featured in an upcoming issue of RetroBike magazine in October, i'm pretty excited to see my photos in print.

In the mean time you can read more about Johnnys bike over at Return of the Cafe Racer in their writeup on his bike HERE
