Husqvana Nuda 900R Cafe Racer - Magazine Photo Shoot
JOSH’S CUSTOM HUSQVANA NUDA 900R CAFE RACER
Back on a warm January afternoon in 2019 i had the pleasure of shooting Josh’s custom Husqvarna Nuda 900R Cafe Racer for the April issue of Retrobike Magazine.
After a small accident and a generous insurance payout Josh decided to do something different with his already very rare Nuda. He decided to convert it into a modern Cafe Racer with a custom kit made specifically for the bike by a German parts specialist called LSL. The bikes suspension and tuning was also been enhanced by the experts at Race Center. Theres a lot more to the story of this bike which can be found in its magazine feature but for now enjoy the photos.
These images were featured in the April 2019 Issue of Retro Bike Magazine.

2018 Phillip Island MotoGP
Motoheaven’s 2018 MotoGP VIP Marquee
Late last month i had the opportunity to shoot the 2018 Phillip Island MotoGP for Motoheaven at their VIP marquee. It was a crazy few days spent trackside on the Gardner straight drinking many beers lucky i also managed to take a few photos along the way. Once again thanks to Adrian and the crew at MotoHeaven for their hospitality it was such a great way to experience the GP with a great bunch of people. Im already counting down the days till the next one.

Murray Valley Track Day
I recently had the chance to get a taste of the Murray Valley Training Centre and ride this awesome little track. For a few years now i have heard only great things about the track and it sure didn't disappoint. It's so technical and tight but so so much fun once you link up all the turns correctly. Its mainly a 2nd gear track and teaches great smooth throttle control as you can only use full throttle 10% of the time and i only click up into 3rd for a few seconds. The track is hard work (compared to a larger circuit) on a 1000cc but was much easier than i expected which i attribute to the amazing Race Centre suspension setup i'm running on my RSV4.
When i wasn't out on track i decided to snap a few pics around the pit exit to practice some slow shutter and rear curtain sync flash shots. The following images are just a few of them and dont cover the scope of a full days photographic coverage at the track.
I can’t wait to make the journey up to Murray Valley Training Co again as its an absolute blast and i can see it really improving my riding. Big thanks to the legends that make it all happen.
Head to the Murray Valley Training Centre website for more info and their upcoming dates

2017 ‘RACE CENTER’ R6 RACE BIKE PROMOTIONAL PHOTOS
The boys at Race Center have done it again and created this beautiful 2017 Yamaha R6 Race Bike. This bike featured their FD02 suspension package and had spent countless hours on the dyno for a custom tune using the Woolich Racing tools. It has also been fitted with an auto blipper which sounds insane ( i had a chance to see it run on the dyno). This is one of the most beautiful looking race bikes i’ve seen so well done on creating such a great package. I always look forward to shooting the bikes that these guys build and cannot wait till the next one.

R1 Race Bike Photoshoot
This shoot was interesting and a lot of fun. Richard had just finished his R1 Race Bike ( his wet bike) and wanted some photos. These shots were taken just as the sun was setting which created the beautiful backlight coming from the window. I had to move fast setting up my flash's as the light was fading quickly. For the hazy effect i ended up using the bag from a vacuum cleaner which was full of dust, to shoot the dust in the air we used air from an air gun in the workshop.
